NFC Technology

NFC (Near Field Communication) enables secure, contactless communication between compatible devices and electronic identity documents, including NFC-enabled identity cards and passports.

SCSoft’s NFC identity verification solution reads supported data groups stored in document chips, including personal information and biometric photographs. This data can be used to compare chip information with the printed document and support identity verification workflows.

For Turkish electronic identity cards, SCSoft supports Passive Authentication (PA) to verify the integrity and authenticity of digitally signed chip data, and Active Authentication (AA) to help detect chip cloning.
